Vintage, food and fun (but no cheesesteaks) in Philly

A month ago, I went to Philadelphia to visit my friend Amanda. I got on a bus at Penn Station and took the two-hour trip allll by myself like a big girl. Best time ever.

If you go to Philly, you should do these things:

See the Liberty Bell (but don't let it's small size disappoint you).

Throw pennies on Ben Franklin's grave! A penny saved is a penny earned, right?

Eat at the White Dog Cafe. Super, duper cute place with dog paintings EVERYWHERE. It's very "English" and the food is delish. Also, eat at Nudy's (yes, the name is great and so are the pancakes!) and at Wedge and Fig -- best chorizo and Manchego omelette ever.

After brunching at Wedge, go to Briar Vintage. If you are a boy/know a boy/like a boy and like fashion, this place is amaze.

Go to Valley Forge and do the car tour (with educational CD). If you don't have time to walk (we didn't), you can do all of Valley Forge in an hour.

I'd suggest more stuff, but at the end of the day most of my trip revolved around these words: "Where, what, and when are we eating?" And I'd rather not contribute to anyone else's #fatgirlproblems.
