Downtown Charleston: A bigger, better version of DT Savannah

This weekend, I was all set to go to Atlanta and brave the throngs of people in search of "cheap Marni stuff" at H&M. My plans fell through as usual (tip: stop planning your lives, people!) and I ended up in Charleston, SC--the friendliest city in the U.S. according to Travel + Leisure--instead. No, there is not an H&M in Charleston. But there are a lot of cool stores, restaurants, galleries, etc.

The trip was short-lived, but worked out as--what I think will serve as--a trial run for our next girls' trip to Charleston.

Another tip: If you ever make it out to Charleston and you have money to spend, go to a little boutique called Worthwhile. They sell Isabel Marant everything, and the store-store is way better than the online store.
